In October of 1993, Michael Jordan stunned the basketball world, retiring from the NBA at the age of 30, after nine seasons, and three NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls. He would only spend one year away, trying his hand at minor league baseball, before returning to the Bulls in March of 1995. Upon his return, Jordan chose to forego his already-retired No. 23 in favor of No. 45, the jersey number he wore in high school. In his 23rd game back, MJ switched back to his traditional number 23 jersey, ending the number 45 era after just 22 NBA games.
This red Champion number 45 Bulls jersey, size 46, features “BULLS” across the chest, “45” on the front and back, and “JORDAN” across the back shoulders, all in black-on-white tackle twill. The manufacturer’s tag and team exclusivity tag, with “Body Length +3”, can be found on the front left tail. Jordan has signed the jersey in silver marker on the back #4, which is also tagged with a slightly smudged UDA hologram (??H24875).
