Presented is a Michael Jordan signature on a 1988 NBA All-Star Game stat-embroidered jersey.  Jordan has signed his name in silver marker in the “crossbar” of the blue number “2” on the front of the white jersey, with the NBA logo printed in red and blue at the top, the letters “NBA” printed in red and blue next to the logo, the blue numbers “2” and “3” sewn in, and the legend “All-Star” printed in red and blue letters. There is a HOLO sticker on the bottom of the number “2” (BAG 78901).

Below the numbers is embroidered, in blue, the legend “1988 All-Star Game MVP 1988 Slam Dunk Champion 40 Points: 8 Rebounds: 3 Assists Chicago Stadium – Chicago, IL 2/88”. The back of the sleeveless tank top white mesh jersey has the name “Jordan” across the top silk screened in blue letters, and the numbers “2” and “3” sewn in.  The jersey has red, white and blue elastic sleeves and neck. The 38th NBA All-Star Game was played on February 7, 1988, at Chicago Stadium in Chicago. The East won the game 138-133 and Jordan (who scored a game-high 40 points) was named the game's MVP.

Jordan played 15 seasons in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.  His individual accolades and accomplishments include six NBA Finals MVP Awards, 10 scoring titles (both all-time records), five MVP Awards, 10 All-NBA First Team designations, nine All-Defensive First Team honors, 14 NBA All-Star Game selections, three All-Star Game MVP Awards, three steals titles, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award.
