Offered in this lot are a pair of signed tickets from milestone games in the career of three-time American League Most Valuable Player Mike Trout. The first ticket dates to Trout’s debut against the Seattle Mariners on July 8th, 2011 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The one-time first round pick finished hitless in three plate appearances, although the Angels picked up a 4-3 victory on Mark Trumbo’s walk off home run to open the ninth inning. Trout has signed the ticket in blue marker, inscribing “First ML Game” in addition to his signature. The ticket comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (VS269943) and comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (62705755) who graded the ticket AUTHENTIC AUTO 10.
The second ticket is from the next day, when Trout recorded the first hit of his MLB career against Seattle starter Michael Pineda. Trout knocked an infield single in the third inning, with Trumbo scoring on a throwing error by Pineda to put the Angels up 1-0 en route to a comfortable 9-3 win. Trout finished the game 1-3 with two runs scored and a walk. The future Hall of Famer has signed this ticket in blue marker, inscribing “1st Hit Game” below his signature. This ticket comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (VS541129) and comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (58804352) who graded the ticket AUTHENTIC AUTO 10.
