Presented is a framed and mounted illustrated drumhead signed by the former drummer of The Beatles, Ringo Starr.  The British musician, singer, songwriter and actor has signed his name in black marker in the lower left corner of the “Ringo Starr Art Tour 2010” poster image reproduced in full-color on the top of the 14 ½ -inch circumference Remo drumhead. The drumhead has a black background with a yellow stripe, and is mounted in a brown, black, and yellow paper matte inside a 22 ¾ x 22 ¾ -inch black wood frame.  The bottom right side of the matte has a “star” cut-out with a black background through the yellow matte with white lining.  Starr, who gained his greatest fame with The Beatles from 1962 to 1970, was induct3ed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a Beatle in 1988, and for his solo career in 2015, making him one of 21 performers inducted more than once.  His “Ringo Starr Art Tour 2010” tour played 30 cities in the summer of 2010 and featured personal appearances by Starr in which he signed prints of his recent paintings, as well as concerts with “Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band” in each city.  This item has been authenticated by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
