Presented is a pair of game-used Nike black leather New York Yankees cleats, inscribed and signed by Wade Boggs.  The former Yankees third baseman has signed his name in silver marker on the tongue flap of each shoe, along with the inscription “GAME USED” above the white-embroidered number “12” and “YANKEES” below on each shoe.  The black leather cleats have a Nike swoosh sewn in white leather on each side of the shoe, as well as a white-embroidered Nike swoosh logo on each toe.  There are spots of dirt on the underside of each shoe.  Boggs played four seasons in the Bronx (1993-1997) and was a key member of the 1996 World Series champions team.  His 18-year MLB career began with the Boston Red Sox in 1982 and ended in 1998 with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Boggs was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. This item comes with a LOA from Wade Boggs.
