Houston Oilers quarterback Warren Moon wore this white Oilers helmet during his time with the team, which spanned from his NFL debut in 1984 through the 1993 NFL season. Moon, a former CFL star, is a five-time Grey Cup champion and one of the most prolific passers in NFL history. The former Washington Huskies star passed for 49,325 yards in the NFL in addition to 21,228 yards in the CFL. Moon played in the NFL until 2000, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
This helmet is white, with the Oilers iconic logo applied to each side of the helmet. A red-blue-red stripe bisects the helmet. A circular decal bearing Moon’s number “1” is applied to the back of the helmet. The facemask is red and separate from the helmet. This Riddell helmet comes with a Letter of Provenance from the Hall of Fame wide receiver Andre Reed.
