Offered here is an all-access press pass from Hockey Hall of Famer Wayne Gretzky's last NHL game on April 18, 1999, signed by "The Great One" himself. Gretzky took the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Madison Square Garden on April 18, 1999, assisting Brian Leetch's goal in New York's 2-1 defeat to the Penguins. This was Gretzky's 1,963rd career assist, a number that will never be approached so long as the NHL exists. The presented 4 3/8 x 7-inch laminated all-access pass comes with a black lanyard and features an image of Gretzky clad in his New York Rangers uniform skating with his arm raised in the air. "THE GREAT ONE" is labeled in red above his image. A New York Rangers logo and the date of April 18, 1999, appear on the bottom of the image. The reverse of the pass is labeled "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES" in red above a New York Rangers logo. "#99" and "FOREVER" are labeled in red below the Rangers logo. Gretzky signed across his image with a blue marker. The signature is bold and clear, and the pass features a prominent scratch above his image and minor scratches throughout. The all-access pass from Gretzky's last NHL game signed by the legendary and prolific points-leader comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
