Arthur Miller’s unique series “A Baseball Card That Never Was” continues with this vintage entrant featuring the feared competitor Ty Cobb. This artwork is a mixed media on canvas. Specifically, the mixed media is acrylic enamel house paint, oil pastels and colored pencils and sealed with varnish. This original artwork imagines what a Cobb entry in the iconic 1948 Leaf set would look like. Cobb is portrayed in his numberless home whites and a navy and white cap, with a clutch of bats resting on his right shoulder. This original canvas artwork measures 25 x 30 inches and has been signed by Miller on the upper corner.
