Called up at the beginning of the 2012 season, Washington’s Bryce Harper emerged as the National League most exciting player. Mid-season he was voted onto the All-Star team and finished the year as the NL’s Rookie of the Year. This striking Louisville Slugger 113L model shows excellent game use. The handle has been cracked and cleat marks are visible. The barrel shows ball marks with stitch impressions along with white ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. There is a moderate coating of Mota stick on the handle and markings from a weighted bat donut. The knob shows date “04/03/12”, length “34.0”, and Veneer Maple “VM”. The finish is “Hornsby” and is particularly attractive with the gold ink used for the logos and lettering. Superior bat used in one of the most exciting rookie seasons in modern memory. Letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
