Mike Trout might have been prevented from winning the AL’s 2012 MVP
Award by Miguel Cabrera’s Triple Crown season, but he took home the AL
Rookie of the Year Award and Silver Slugger Award after having one of
the finest rookie seasons in MLB history. The Angels outfielder was
selected as July’s AL MVP and AL Rookie of the Month and appeared in the
2012 All-Star Game where he went 1 for 1 and stole a base. Beautiful
two-color Mike Trout model Old Hickory bat shows tremendous game use
with many cleat marks, ball marks and stitch impressions. There’s a
heavy coating of Mota Stick on the handle and the knob and bottom part
of the bat has been taped to enhance his grip. His number “27” is
written on the knob end in black marker and 2 numbered PSA/DNA stickers
(U28034 and 1B05242) have been affixed. Trout has signed the bat’s
barrel in contrasting silver ink along with the notation “2012 AL RoY”.
