Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith enjoyed two of his finest seasons at the plate during the 1986-1987 labeling period for this Louisville Slugger K55 bat, hitting .280 in ’86 and a career-high .303 in ’87. Showing light to moderate use with a few scuffs, cleat marks and bat rack tracks on the barrel and very slight pine tar residue on the handle, Smith’s number 1 is written in black marker on the knob. Smith signed the barrel in bold black Sharpie close to wear his facsimile signature is branded into the bat; contains dual PSA/DNA authentication stickers for the bat (#1B05866) and signature (#U69449) affixed to the end of the barrel and comes with full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
