Lot #65: 2018 Steph Curry Game Used & Photo Matched Under Armour Curry IV Sneakers Matched 44 Point Game on 2/22/18 - Surpassed 2,100+ Career 3 Pointers Made (NBA/MeiGray)

Description

Golden State Warriors icon Stephen Curry, a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and three-time NBA Finals champion, wore this pair of Under Armour Curry IV sneakers in the second-half of a 44-point masterclass against the Los Angeles Clippers on February 22nd, 2018. The game was vintage Curry, with the former Davidson star shooting an unreal 14-19 from the field, including 8-11 from beyond the arc, in Golden State’s 134-127 home win. A highlight for Curry came at the end of the first quarter, when the decorated point guard evaded two Los Angeles defenders to swish a buzzer-beating three from just inside halfcourt. Curry added 10 assists, six boards, and two steals, while passing the 2,100 career three-pointers mark in the game. The Warriors averaged an NBA-best 113.5 points per game in 2017-18 and charged to the NBA Finals championship in a perfunctory four-game sweep of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

These high-top shoes are blue, with yellow and black accents. Yellow Under Armour logos are applied to each heel, and a “SC” logo is applied to both shoes. Each shoe features an “IV SC” tag. Written in silver marker on the right shoe are Curry’s initials of “WSC.” Written in silver marker on the left shoe is Curry’s mantra, “I Can do all things…” and “Romans 8:28.” The shoes are a size 12.5. “2-22-18” is handwritten in silver marker on each instep. The historic kicks are accompanied by an NBA/MeiGray LOA.
