< p class=" MsoNormal" style=" text-indent: .5in;"> Presented here is an American Express company stock certificate signed by William Fargo, the founder of the modern-day financial firms of American Express and Wells Fargo. The certificate, issued to a “A. Leach” of Utica, New York, was signed by Fargo in black ink on December 15th, 1868. The certificate was for a 1/2 share of stock. The Fargo’s signature is bold, and the stock certificate is in good condition and contains some cornering, edging, and toning around the top of the certificate. The American Express company stock certificate signed by William Fargo comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication (AA12827) for the signature.
