Lot #59: 1998 Michael Jordan Game Used & Dual Signed Pair of Air Jordan 13 Sneakers - Attributed to the NBA Finals! (MEARS, JSA & Joshua Thomas LOA)

Description

Michael Jordan, in his 13th NBA season of 1997-98, was still the consensus best player in the league, winning the 10th scoring title of his Hall of Fame career with an average of 28.5 points per game. Jordan contributed 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as he led the Bulls to a 62-20 regular season record and winning their sixth NBA title in eight seasons – a true dynasty! It was almost a formality that Jordan was the NBA MVP in 1997-98, making it the fifth time Jordan received the NBA’s highest individual honor. These offered Air Jordan XIII sneakers are a size 13 ½ and are primarily a white colorway with the midsoles black, while the soles are white, black, and red with a black Jumpman logo. A red Jumpman logo is embroidered on the black tongues and the heels have a black wavy pattern. Jordan has signed the outsides of each shoe in black marker adding to these outstanding gamers. These sneakers come with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and a LOA from JSA for Jordan's signature. Additionally, there is a letter of provenance from Joshua Thomas, the son of Isiah Thomas who received these sneakers during a game at the NBA Finals that his father HOFer Isiah Thomas was announcing.
