Baseball’s iron man Cal Ripken Jr. wore this white Baltimore Orioles home jersey in 1995, the year he broke Lou Gehrig’s seminal MLB record for most consecutive games played. Ripken set the record on September 6th, 1995 and received a thunderous 22-minute standing ovation for his massive and unprecedented contributions to the sport. The Hall of Famer hit .262, with 17 homers and 88 RBI in 1995, while making the 13th of his 19 career All-Star rosters.

This button-down Baltimore home jersey is white, with “Orioles” sewn across the chest in orange and black tackle twill. Ripken’s number “8” is sewn on the chest in orange and black tackle twill, and on the back in black and orange tackle twill. “RIPKEN” is sewn across the back shoulders in black and orange tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. An Orioles logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, while a Russell Athletic logo is sewn on the right. A Russell size “48” tag is sewn on the front left tail over a “95” tag. A “100% Polyester” flag is attached to the Russell tag. Ripken has signed the jersey’s chest in blue marker.
