Lot #129: 2018 Mike Trout Game Used & Signed Old Hickory MT27* Bat Photo Matched To 6/28/18 Against Boston Red Sox (PSA/DNA GU 10 & Anderson LOA)

Description

On June 28, 2018 The Los Angeles Angels faced the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Brian Johnson started for the Sox and lasted four innings before hitting the showers with LA ahead, 1-0. Four Boston relief pitchers did a sterling job, holding the Angels to just one more run as the Red Sox bats drove in four to take the game. Mike Trout, owning a .320 average at the time, was held to no hits in two at bats, and as a nod to how dangerous he was perceived by the Boston pitchers, was issued two walks. Even without recording a hit Trout was a playmaker as he scored the Angels second run when Pujols singled him home in the 8th.

This bat is not only game used by Mike Trout but has been photo matched as having been used by the Angels star during this June 28, 2018 game against Boston. This Old Hickory MT27* model bat displays great game use with several ball marks and scuffs on the barrel along with the impression from a weighted batting donut. The upper handle has a heavy coat of pine tar while the lower handle has been wrapped in a spiral pattern with Lizard Skin to enhance the grip. The only thing left to complete this photo-matched home run attributed Trout gamer is the young slugger’s signature, which is on the barrel in silver pen with the added inscription of “G/U 18.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17870) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Anderson Authentics for the game use and signature.
