This award was presented to Reese by Hillerich & Bradsby and features a Hillerich & Bradsby “Hal” Reese stamped bat that rests upon the 13 x 38-inch wood base. A black and white photo of Reese with Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson, while Anderson is still managing the Reds, is on the upper left corner. A circle “LOUISVILLE SLUGGER AWARD HILLERICH & BRADSBY LOUISVILLE, KY” plate is next to the photo. Reese has signed his name on the mounted bat in blue marker on the barrel. Reese’s signature comes with a COA from JSA (HH93929).
