Michael Jordan Motorsports was formed in 2004 with the help of Pete Mauhar, a seasoned team manager in the pro circuit with a decade worth of Superbike experience, to help him navigate a sport dominated by factory teams from Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati and Yamaha since the sport was officially recognized on a global scale in 1988. The team and its riders competed in the AMA Pro Superbike circuit through the 2014 season, the last year of Jordan Motorsports. Pridmore, one of the nation’s top drivers from 1990 through 2014, was the lead rider on the Jordan Motorsports team during the 2005 AMA Pro Superbike and Super Stock seasons, while Rapp was a rider on the Jordan Motorsports team in the 2005 and 2006 AMA Pro Superbike seasons.
