Jordan has signed his name in black marker in the center of the red paper fly-leaf of the 1993 First Edition of this hardcover book which features text by Jordan and photographs by noted Sports Illustrated photographer Walter Iooss, Jr. The 11½ x 13½-inch black cloth, 111-page hardcover comes with a 1 x 11½ x 14-inch black cloth slipcase embossed in silver with the legend, “rareAIR Michael on Michael A Limited Edition”. The flyleaf is inscribed “637/2500” in black marker. In the book, which was published immediately after his first retirement from the Chicago Bulls in October 1993, Jordan talks about his love for the game, his devotion to his family, his competitiveness, and his sense of self in the midst of the insanity that defines modern celebrity. There are action shots on court and pictures of Michael on the golf course; with his wife, in the bubble bath with the kids, before the game, and after the game soaking his sore feet.
