Lot #1247: Michael Jordan Signed and Framed to 28x17" Jordan Roast Program Collage With a Ticket and Pictures of Jordan From His Youth Playing Baseball and Football (JSA)

Description

Presented is a Michael Jordan signed Jordan Roast program collage with a ticket and photographs of the Hall of Fame NBA legend from his youth playing baseball and football. The six-time NBA Champion with the Chicago Bulls signed his name in black marker on the front cover of the program for a September 1986 Michael Jordan Roast benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and inscribed “To Cassandra” above his signature. The 5 x 8-inch white paper program book has a black and white illustration of Jordan’s head and shoulders with a black bowtie and is mounted at the left side of the display in a red matte with gold accents. At the center of the display is a 5 x 8-inch white page with three black and white photos of Jordan, on depicting him in 1973 in a Little League Baseball uniform at the top left, a 1973 grammar school photo of Jordan in a jacket and tie at the top right, and a 1986 head and shoulder portrait photo of Jordan in a dark suit, light shirt and tie. At the upper right of the display is a 1976 photo of Jordan in a baseball uniform with a bat in hand from the Mickey Owen Baseball School (left), and a photo of Jordan in 1978 in a football uniform with helmet in his right hand. At the lower right is a ticket for the “7th Annual Roast Honoring Michael Jordan” at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 7, 1986. The signed cover, photo sheets and ticket are displayed in a 17 x 27½-inch gold metal frame with black accent with glass. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Y84715).
