Presented is a 1990s-era Michael Jordan advertising poster for Ballpark Franks with an illustration of the Chicago Bulls superstar in action and the legend “The Hot Dogs Hot Dogs Love” printed in black type across the white background. Jordan is depicted in mid-air in a red uniform with the black #23 on front, holding a hot dog with mustard in his upraised right hand where a basketball would normally appear. The “Ballpark” logo is printed in light blue, yellow and red to the left of Jordan’s figure on the 48 x 62-inch linen-backed poster. The figure of Jordan is 30 x 38-inches at the center of the poster, wearing black knee braces on his right leg and black sneakers. Jordan was featured in numerous Ballpark television and print advertising campaigns, both local (Chicago) and national, during the early 1990s. The Nike Air Jordan shoes he is wearing in the illustration appear similar to those he wore in the 1992-1993 NBA season. Jordan was signed to a $2 million endorsement deal by Ball Park Franks in 1990.
