Presented is a collection of five tickets to major championship boxing matches, from 1892 to 1937. The first item in this collection is a full ticket from September 5, 1892, the lightweight championship of the world between Billy Myer and Jack McAuliffe. McAuliffe, born in Ireland, knocked out Billy Frazier on October 29, 1886, to win the Lightweight Championship of the World and the Lightweight Championship of America. He retired after fighting Georges Carpentier in an exhibition bout in October 1920. On September 5, 1892, McAuliffe met Billy Myer for the Lightweight Title at the Olympic Club in New Orleans. McAuliffe won the bout with a KO in the 15th round. The white paper ticket is 2 ½ x 5-inches with printing on the front and back.  The paper is browning in the upper right front corner and has three small holes punched in the lower right side, probably from the ticket taker at the event.  This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (41494248) and is graded AUTHENTIC.

The second item in this collection is a full ticket from October 17, 1893, for a card of boxing at the Olympic Club in New Orleans featuring Jack Levy vs. Jas. Gorman, and Jack Everhardt vs. Geo. Pierce.  Gorman won his bout with an eighth-round knockout of Levy.  This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (41597857) and is graded VG-3.

The third item in this collection is a ticket stub from October 31, 1895 for the world’s heavyweight boxing championship match between James Corbett and Bob Fitzsimmons at the Florida Athletic Club in Dallas, Texas.  The fight was rescheduled and finally took place March 17, 1897 at the Race Track Arena in Carson City, Nevada.  Gentleman Jim Corbett had held the title for four and a half years after defeating the legendary John L. Sullivan, but lost to the challenger, Fitzsimmons, when he was knocked out in the 14th round.  The ticket has orange, blue and black printing on the front, and green printing on the back on white paper.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (24799508) and is graded EX-MT 6.

The fourth item in this collection is a ticket stub from March 11, 1935, featuring the international cruiser weight bout between Eric Seelig and Eddie Wenstob at the Empire Pool and Sports Arena in Wembley, England. The fight ended in a 12-round draw.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (283634779) and is graded PR 1 (MK).

The fifth item in this collection is a ticket stub from October 19, 1937, featuring a 12-round heavyweight boxing match between Walter Neusel and Maurice Strickland at the Empire Pool and Sports Arena in Wembley, England. Neusel collected the win in 12 rounds. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (28634776) and is graded GOOD 2.
