The 25th President of the United States William McKinley signed this Naval Commission document dated March 5, 1900. The commission for Ensign Walton R. Sexton was dated July 1, 1899. This 15 x 18 inch document has a blue seal and has been matted in a 26 x 33 ½ inch frame display that also features a 9 x 11 artist rendering of McKinley. Also included is a 2 x 3 ½ inch card that reads “William McKinley Twenty-Fifth President 1897-1901. McKinley died six months into his second term when he was shot by an assailant in Buffalo, NY. This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA.
