Presented is a 24-card complete set of PC460 "Life of George Washington" postcards issued in the 1900s. Even though it initially appears as though Jefferson Burdick categorized these under the postcard heading of his American Card Catalog, he actually included them in that section's sub-heading of "View and Historical Sets." This heading contained all of this type of related theme sets—viewing cards that were purchased together as a group. These black-and-white, blank-backed cards chronicles the story of George Washington's life in pictures. The overwhelming majority grade EX/MT to NM/MT (balance is lesser).
