The Fan Craze set of 1906 included 105 cards including both National (54 cards) and American League players (51 cards), with league differentiations made by the colors of the backs, red for National and blue for American. The cards were used as part of a table top board game, with each player card (featuring a portrait within an oval), representing a particular pitch or play such as “Strike”, “Out at First” and “Passed ball.” It was one of the first post 1900 card sets, and due to the tremendous design and player representation, it remains very popular with collectors. This collection of Fan Craze cards includes both National and American League players and each card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA. Includes: PSA EX 5 – 4 cards w/Bay, Duffy, Hanlon and McGraw; PSA VG-EX 4 – 4 card w/Crawford, Cross, Flick and Wallace; PSA VG 3 – 7 cards w/Clarke, Griffith, Patten, Pulliam, Weimer, Wicker and Willis; PSA GOOD + 2.5 – 1 card, Beckley; PSA GOOD 2 – 20 cards w/Ames, Beaumont, Bergen, Bresnahan, Casey, Donlin, Doolin, Dooin, Dunleavy, Ewing, Fraser, Leach, Lumley, McGinnity, Phillippe, Sheckard, Taylor, Theilman, Wiltsie and Irving Young; PSA FR 1.5 – 6 cards w/Corcoran, Dahlen, Howard, McGann, McIntyre and Pittinger; PSA PR 1 – 11 cards w/Browne, Chance, Kling, Lundgren, Maloney, Overall, Pfeffer, Ruelbach, Seymour, Tenney and Thomas; PSA AUTHENTIC – 1 card, O’Neil. This grouping offers a great opportunity to start your Fan Craze card set, with more than half the cards for a full set in this grouping. Total 54 cards.
