One of America’s most popular presidents both during and after his time in office, Theodore Roosevelt was a man of vast interests not limited to the office of the Presidency. A veteran of the Spanish-American War, Roosevelt was a passionate advocate for the preservation of America’s wild spaces and established the National Park service, also becoming known for his progressive policies favoring the American worker. A masterful negotiator, Roosevelt was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating the end of the Russo-Japanese War.
Presented here is a card, signed and inscribed by the 26th President. He wrote “Dumont, with all good wishes / from Theodore Roosevelt / April 9th 1909”. He signed and inscribed this card in black pen. This item is presented in a 9 x 11 ½ inch frame, and comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (Y00435).
