Graded GEM MT 10 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of only three examples at its tier among a total of eighty copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. Just three percent of all WG5 National Game examples holdered by PSA have achieved this unimprovable level. The "National Game" baseball playing cards from 1913 have long been cherished in the hobby for their high-quality black-and-white photographic likenesses of the ballplayers, and their deep red, stylized cardbacks. The classic issue featured most of the time's great stars, including the offered, key portrayal of the legendary Ty Cobb. This scarce and much sought-after piece has been preserved since its manufacture in a super-clean, wholly uncirculated state, and reveals absolutely splendid qualities of appearance on both front and back surfaces.
