Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of just four examples at its tier (with only two graded higher) among a total of fewer than 140 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. This marvelous strip card showcases a figure who was already well on his way to becoming a legend by the time of the delicate item's production by an anonymous manufacturer. Careful hand-cutting has been effected to the blank-backed collectible, resulting in clean and balanced, off-white borders on all sides. Bright print quality enhances the item's inspiring presentation, and the mildest-possible evidence of past handling is confined to the corners. A very elusive, early-career Ruth memento, in Near Mint to Mint condition.
