Offered is a unique sepia toned photograph of the one and only Babe Ruth. The 8 x 10 inch photo shows “The Babe” standing in front of a car in a suit with a heavy fur coat and driving cap with a partial smile. Adding to the quality of this photograph is the bold signature and inscription penned by Ruth. The signature and inscription, which reads “To my friend Otto Crowhurst From “Babe” Ruth Nov 27-1926” has been written in black pen. Photographs of Babe Ruth from the 1920s are very rare and ones that are signed by the legend from this era make this photograph that more valuable. This signed and inscribed photograph comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB10094).
