Offered is the “Downingtown Vindicator” newspaper based out of Youngstown, Ohio dated January 27, 1927. The featured headline is “TY COBB AND SPEAKER ARE CLEARED” which is in reference to baseball commissioner Kennesaw Landis clearing the two superstars of gambling and allowed them to return to playing baseball. This newspaper measures 17 x 22 inches and the pages are not intact. There is toning and edge wear throughout, but the print is still clear.
