Speedster Max Carey led the league in steals in half of the 20 years he played in the majors. Carey was winding down his Hall of Fame playing career and transitioning to manager with the Brooklyn Robins when he was swinging this bat. Used during the 1928 to 1930 period, the Hillerich & Bradsby bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are chips in the barrel and knob and many ball marks are visible. The barrel displays checking from repeated ball contact. The bats length is 35 inches and weights in at 38.8 ounces. A great example of a pre-war Hall of Famer gamer. Letter of Authenticity (1B11035) from PSA/DNA.
