Offered is a full ticket from Game 1 of the 1929 World Series between the Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago Cubs from Wrigley Field. This was the first ever World Series game played at Wrigley Field, however, the A’s jumped out to a 1-0 series lead, thanks to the home run of Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx and the pitching of Howard Ehmke. This 2 ¼ x 7 inch ticket on off-white paper, has yellow, black and red printing and shows signs of water damage and evidence of being trimmed. This ticket has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (19794112) and been graded as AUTHENTIC.
