This original tournament scorecard was intended for the “34th United States Open Golf Championship” that was held on “July 10–11-12---1930” at the Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minnesota, a suburb southwest of Minneapolis. The card states the official rules on the back and the inside provides places for the contestant to enter their scores for each hole. There are also places for both the scorer’s and the contestant’s signatures to verify the scores entered. At this particular event, Bobby Jones won his second consecutive, and record-tying fourth, U.S. Open title. In fact, that year, having already won the British Amateur and the British Open in June, Jones secured his third consecutive major title at this event. Jones later completed the grand slam with a victory in September at the fourth and final leg, the U.S. Amateur. A historical part of the greatest ever season of golf.
