Certified with Autograph Grade MINT 9 by PSA/DNA. Hall of Fame Detroit Tigers star Hank Greenberg has signed and inscribed this spectacular premium in black ink. The superb scripting includes his signature and the inscriptions, "To Dr. C.G. Steen with my best regards," and "February 13, 1940." An ideal canvas for Greenberg's precise penmanship, the barely circulated, approximately 9-1/2" x 12" magazine premium (which bears bottom-margin copyright attribution for the Baseball Magazine Company along with a notation that the image is an enlargement of an original Charles Conlon photo) displays with grandeur. Greenberg, a 1956 Cooperstown enshrinee, passed away in 1986. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (X04693).
