These two train menus were given to players and coaches during the trips to the cities of New York and Washington for the 1933 World Series. There are two different versions, one for the train headed to Washington and one for the train to New York. The front covers are tailored to the opposing teams, but the interior menu lists are nearly the same with only minor differences; however, a sirloin steak dinner was a whopping $2.00! The menus measure 8" x 10-1/4", contain images of Connie Mack, Joe Cronin and Bill Terry, and grade Very Good with staining and usual edge wear. The New York version has a couple of tiny pinholes at the top of each page and a corner crease, while the Washington version has a vertical crease down the middle as having been folded and pocketed. Tremendously scarce items which transverse different collecting genres, that of baseball, the World Series and train collectibles.
