Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig paced the offense, with each Hall of Famer hitting over 30 home runs, 100 RBI, and at least .304.

The south panel has the signatures of Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez and Bill Dickey, along with the signatures of Herb Pennock, Dixie Walker and an unidentified name. The west panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Earle Combs, along with Wilcy Moore, Joe McCarthy (clubhouse), Eddie Farrell, Lyn Lary and Cy Perkins. The east panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Tony Lazzeri and Joe Sewell, along with George Uhle and two unidentified signatures. The final panel (north) has the signatures of Arthur Fletcher (clubhouse), Johnny Allen, Danny MacFayden and Ben Chapman. The signatures are light and most of them are still readable. The ball displays toning and other abrasion marks. This comes with a LOA from JSA (Z51902) for the signatures.
