The 1939 World Series pitted the defending champions, the New York Yankees against the ever resilient Cincinnati Reds, who had finally made it might it back to the World Series since the scandalous 1919 World Series. The New York Yankees would go on to sweep the series 4-0, earning their fourth consecutive championship. Game 4 would take place on Sunday October 8, 1939 at Crosley Field, in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Game 4 ticket stub from the clinching game has black and red print on a pink background bordered in white. This ticket stub is in near good condition and has been officially encapsulated by SGC with a grade of AUTH.
