This Philadelphia Eagles helmet was worn circa 1940. The helmet is painted green, with a wide silver stripe painted down the center of the helmet. The interior padding appears to be intact, and an “Airlite” wordmark is printed on the padding. This historically significant helmet shows even wear, and originates from the formative era of the National Football League.
