Graded 84 NM 7 by SGC. A dual Hall of Famer portrayal. This is one of three examples at its tier (with none graded higher) among a total of forty copies recorded in SGC's census reporting. A spectacular tandem – featuring Ted Williams as card #81 and teammate Joe Cronin as #82 – graces the obverse of this nicely centered, blank-backed collectible. The item's clean borders and crisp illustrations would certainly have palliated disappointment at Double Play's advertisement of "2 Pictures" making reference, in fact, to just a single "card!" This piece concedes only the mildest-imaginable wear at the corners' outermost tips. Bright Near Mint condition.
