An original issue one sheet for what is regarded by many as the best baseball movie of all time. This is the story of the life of Lou Gehrig, starring Gary Cooper as Lou Gehrig, and Babe Ruth as himself. The film received 11 Oscar nominations. The film's iconic closing line—"Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the Earth"—was voted 38th on the American Film Institute's list of 100 greatest movie quotes. The one sheet has been linen backed and with fold lines and some restoration in the corners would grade very good, it displays much nicer than its technical grade. A tremendous piece with great eye appeal which will be the centerpiece to any movie poster (Or Lou Gehrig) collection.
