Offered is this Official National League Ford C. Frick baseball signed by 18 members of the 1949 National League All-Star team. The All-Star game was held at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, the only time ever at the venerable ballpark, which saw the American League out slug their National League counterparts 11-7. Hall of Famers Stan Musial and Ralph Kiner, who are two of the signatures on this baseball, homered in the game.

     All of the signatures have been signed in black ink, with varying degrees of quality. The sweet spot contains the signatures of Hall of Famer Stan Musial and starter Willard Marshall. The east panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner, Ewell Blackwell, Hall of Famer Warren Spahn, Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson, Bobby Thomson and Andy Seminick. The west panel with the Spalding stamp has the signature of Marty Marion. The north panel has the signatures of Sid Gordon, Preacher Roe, Ralph Branca, Hall of Famer Roy Campanella, Vern Brickford and Hall of Famer Johnny Mize. The south panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Enos Slaughter, Howard Pollet and Walker Cooper.

     The baseball is in excellent condition, only displaying minor toning. The ball has all red lacing and the black stamps are still clear present nicely. There is what appears to be some dirt staining on one of the panels, but does not impact the signatures. This baseball has seven Hall of Famers and eight of the nine starters from the 1949 All-Star Game represented on this ball. This multi-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB06660).
