Offered is a 24.5” x 36.25” original drawing performed by The Osborn Engineering Co. for the “EXTERIOR WALL SECTIONS No.s 26 to 35 INCL” for Milwaukee County Municipal Stadium, the eventual home of the Milwaukee Braves and the Milwaukee Brewers. Interestingly, the stadium was originally constructed to house the 1950s minor league Milwaukee Brewers, but the new stadium attracted the interest of major league teams, and when the stadium was opened in 1953, the Boston Braves has already agreed to re-locate to Milwaukee. Various pencil sketches include those for the ticket windows and the production box indicates these sketches were drawn on “9-15-50” and checked on “10-27-50”. Extremely scarce one of a kind item for a now defunct stadium with a rich history. Excellent condition with minor edge wear and one moderate tear near upper left corner.
