Although the Philadelphia “Wiz Kids” Phillies were the talk of the 1950 baseball season, the New York Yankees made short work of them by sweeping them in the World Series. The 1950 Yankees won 98 games that year, finishing 3 games above the Detroit Tigers. The New Yorkers featured 21-game winner Vic Raschi and a young kid named Whitey Ford who contributed a 9-1 record. Joe DiMaggio had his last great season, batting .301 with 32 home runs, while shortstop Phil Rizzuto led the club with a .324 average.

Offered here is a full-color 11 x 14-inch team photograph of the 1950 World Series Champion New York Yankees that has been signed 21 members of that team. This photograph shows the Yankees in their home white pinstriped uniforms in three rows. The signatures on this include Hall of Famers Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Phil Rizzuto and Johnny Mize, with the remaining signatures including Spec Shea, Tommy Byrne, Cliff Mapes, Freddie Sanford, Tom Ferric, Ralph Houk, Allie Reynolds, Tom Heinrich, Hank Bauer, Lou Burdette, Joe Ostrowski, Ed Lopat, Frank Crosetti, Bill Johnson, Gene Woodling and Charlie Silvera. This photograph has blue matte and framed to a dimension of 17 ¼ x 14 ¼ inches. This comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication.
