The Baseball Hall of Fame has always been a popular vacation destination for baseball fans and sports enthusiasts. Starting in 1950, and ending in 1956, the Hall of Fame with Callahan produced black-and-white cards which feature drawings of HOF players. The cards were actually sold at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, to eager tourists and casual collectors who wanted a souvenir. When originally introduced, the set included all members of the HOF up to that time (1950), and then new cards were added each year as more players were elected. Includes: 1950 W576 Callahan (62) - Complete set of 62 cards, plus original box. Highlights include: Chandler (PSA NM 7), Cobb (NM), Foxx (NM), Gehrig (EX/MT), Mathewson (PSA EX-MT 6), Museum Exterior View/"Playing Days... " (PSA VG-EX 4), Ruth (PSA NM-MT 8), Wagner (PSA NM-MT 8) and Young (NM/MT); 1952 W576 Callahan (2) - Includes: Heilmann (NM) and P. Waner (PSA EX-MT 6). Overall, the cards grade mostly at the EX/MT to NM level.
