Beech Nut Gum was launched as a brand in 1910, and the company's advertising material has long been popular among food and candy collectors. But a tremendous leap in the brand's crossover hobby appeal occurred during the mid-20th Century, when a number of celebrity endorsers were introduced to Beech Nuts printed marketing material. Offered here is a collection of more than 50 Beech Nut ads from magazines and other print media, with many featuring the biggest stars from the sports world of the day. The high-profile athletes include Mickey Mantle, Joe Louis, Roy Campanella, Willie Mays and Stan Musial. The ad-pages are clean and presentable, with most being neatly cut from the original publications in which they appeared.
