Hall of Fame split end Raymond Berry wore this Southern Methodist University letterman’s jacket during the 1951-53 seasons. Berry, who played his entire NFL career with the Baltimore Colts, led the NFL in receiving yards three times, recording a career high of 1,258 yards in 1960. This jacket is blue, with leather sleeves and a large “M” logo sewn on the left breast. A swatch with “R. Berry” sewn on in red letters is sewn on the inside of the jacket above a handwritten “SMU Dallas”. A “Raymond E. Berry” tag is sewn on the back inside collar below a manufacturers tag. This item comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
