Willie Mays' incredible on-field heroics dominated sports-page news during the '50's, and his 1951 Bowman "high number series" Rookie Card is among the most coveted pieces in the hobby. This specimen is a favorably well-preserved example of its type. The offered Mays card is distinguished by bright, well-focused color and nicely shaped corners. Its vibrant hues are disturbed only by faint touches of surface wear attributable to respectful past handling. Visually appealing Excellent condition.
