      The 1951 New York Giants season will long be remembered for the “shot heard ‘round the world” by Bobby Thomson, who’s dramatic walk-off home run in the third game of the three-game playoff with cross-town rivals Brooklyn Dodgers, propelled the Giants to the National League Pennant. The 1951 season also saw the debut of Willie Mays, who went on to win the Rookie of the Year Award.

      Offered is an Official National League Ford C. Frick baseball signed by 28 members of the 1951 National League Champions. Signatures include: Hall of Famers Leo Durocher (sweet spot), Monte Irvin, and Willie Mays; with other signatures including: Clint Hartung, Herman Franks, Hank Thompson, Dave Williams, Sal Maglie, Ray Noble, Hank Schenz, Don Mueller, Jack Lohrke, Larry Jansen, Sal Yvars, Bill Rigney, Freddie Fitzsimmons, Ed Stanky, Bobby Thomson, Whitey Lockman, Al Corwin, and several others. This baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07701).
