Mickey Mantle has penned a splendid, black marker signature on the obverse of this otherwise unmarked 1952 Bowman gum card. The iconic design of the early career collectible acts in tandem with the Yankee legend's superb penmanship to yield a truly inspiring, evocative display piece. Mantle, a 1974 Cooperstown enshrinee, passed away in 1995.
