Presented is the #1 All-Time Finest set on the PSA Registry with a GPA of 7.96. These cards were inserted into cartons of Coca-Cola in 1952, were distributed in New York City and featured only players from the Dodgers, Giants and Yankees. The fronts show the player, the position and the home schedule for the team. The reverse explains the "tip" on how to play the position which the subject played. Since these cards were inserted into the delivered cartons of soda, they were subjected to the elements, and remain an extremely difficult set to complete in high grade. However, almost all of the examples in this set are the highest PSA graded cards extant. The set includes 10 Big-League Baseball Cards of nine different subjects, with Bobby Thomson, due to his heroics of the prior October, having two cards. Includes: PSA MINT 9 - 2 cards with Gil McDougald and Bobby Thomson (3rd Base); PSA NM-MT+ 8.5 - 1 card, Eddie Lopat; PSA NM-MT 8 - 5 cards with Hank Bauer, Gil Hodges, Don Mueller, Pee Wee Reese and West Westrum; PSA NM 7 - 2 cards with Carl Furillo and Bobby Thomson (hitting). Complete set of 10 cards, and the #1 All-Time Finest PSA Registry set.
